    Gordon's Park

    Gordon's Park has a multitude of activity and accommodation choices, including bike tours, swimming in the pool, tipi lodging and a campground. In the Interpretive Centre guests can gather information on various natural elements of Manitolin Island, including fossils, edible wild foods and wildflowers. A ribbon of hiking trails run through the five diverese eco-systems in the park. In the summer months, enjoy the wonders of the night by participating in a star gazing program. Gordon's Park is approximately 15 minutes from Manitowaning.

    Holy Cross Mission and Ruins
    Situated near the water in Wikemikong, this site commemorates the first Jesuit mission in 1648 on Manitoulin Island. A church was built in 1852 but was destroyed by a fire in 1954. The stone ruins of the residence of the church remain.
